We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chefs & front of house hosts to be part of our team.

As an apprentice chef, you will have an amazing opportunity to join our team, learning skills and techniques that will see you excel in your journey of hospitality. You will learn from other exceptional, experienced chefs while working full time over four days, and superb work/life balance!

What we are looking for from a successful applicant

  • A passion and overall interest in the catering industry and a desire to turn your passion into a career.
  • Superior presentation with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic and communication skills.
  • Be reliable and punctual, have a friendly personality and enjoy working within a diverse team.
  • Have the ability and means of transport to get to the workplace and TAFE during the hours required.
  • A Certificate I or II in Hospitality would be considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to complete a Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Traineeship

The role and you:

  • Work and learn in a fully equipped commercial kitchen cooking in a fine dining French cuisine restaurant
  • Learn different cooking techniques and explore different flavour profile with exposure to modified diets and meals, broadening your horizons
  • Follow instructions from experienced chefs
  • Lead from the front in terms of a safe and quality service
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines and regulations
  • Passion, enthusiasm and ability to deliver outcomes in a safe environment.
